The Spike-Tail Flame is a large dragon that lives near volcanoes. They come in a range of colors, typically a scarlet, crimson, or orange color, but certain specimens have been known to be dark red or even purple. As suggested, they have a spiked tail similar to that of the dinosaur Stegosaurus, but the spikes are a row along the top of the tailtip. Other than that they have a stereotypical dragon shape, wih horns, four legs, and large wings. This dragon is also now considered the "classic" dragon most known in fiction.
